WHOBA Football Match 2025

This year’s WHOBA match brought together a fantastic crowd, with 26 former players signing in.  It was a brilliant spread of generations , from 2011 – 2024.  all united by a love of the game.

The atmosphere was electric, and everyone enjoyed catching up both on and off the pitch. While the strikers may need a bit more practice on their finishing (we counted at least seven shots off the woodwork!), the goalkeepers put on a stellar performance and kept the score tight throughout.

The game itself was a nail-biter. With just moments to go, the bibs clinched the win with a dramatic last-minute goal, sealing the match 5–4.

Thanks to everyone who came along — it was a great day of football, fun, and reconnecting. We’re already looking forward to the next one!
