Nursery

Unlock your child’s full potential at Edgbaston’s leading nursery.

Choosing the right nursery is one of the most important decisions a parent can make.

These are the formative years in a young child’s development as they begin to explore the world around them. The right environment at this key stage shapes the thinkers, doers and dreamers of tomorrow, building confidence, curiosity and a love for learning that will last a lifetime.

Looking for a nursery in Edgbaston that will nurture your child’s potential? Choose West House.

West House Nursery is an Ofsted registered setting for children aged 6 months to 4 years (EY288576).

Every child is one-of-a-kind

At West House, we celebrate each child’s individuality and unique character, using play to spark their interests and shape a learning plan that’s tailor-made just for them. Because, when children feel happy and secure, they’re free to explore, grow and take on the world.

Inclusive

From day one, children become part of the West House family. From our extensive outdoor areas and Forest School to the library, they are able to enjoy the many enriching experiences our wider school offers, learning and growing alongside older children in a caring, connected community.

Nurturing

We cater to each child’s individual needs, ensuring rapid progress in key areas of development. For those who need extra support, our experienced team, including an EYFS Senco and Speech and Language Therapist, is always ready to help.

Purposeful

Our goal is to prepare children for the next stage with focus and dedication. Through the Monster Phonics scheme, our Pre-Schoolers become confident readers and we ensure they are equally capable with numbers and early math concepts, ready to thrive in Reception.

Caring

At West House Nursery, your child’s happiness, safety and wellbeing come first. With generous staff-to-child ratios and a team of expert teachers and key workers, our environment is a safe and loving space where little ones truly thrive.

The West House difference

Our ethos is built on the belief that every child deserves a strong, joyful start. We encourage natural curiosity and build resilience and confidence, making sure they’re emotionally and academically ready to excel in the next stage of life.
