New President of WHOBA
WHOBA is delighted to announce the appointment of Steven Heathcote (1961) as our new President.
Steven has a long association with the school and WHOBA.
The minutes of the early WHOBA meetings show he was involved with the association in its very earliest days and Steven attended the meeting on 6th November 1966 when the idea of an old boys association was first discussed.
Steven was elected to the WHOBA committee in January 1969 and continued as a committee member and active supporter of the association for the next 50 plus years, holding the role of Treasurer for most of this time.
Steven was also a member of the Parents Association and was then in 1993 appointed to the Board of School Governors and held the role of Chair of Governors for 20 years until he finally stepped down on 31/12/2019.
The association is lucky to have someone as deeply connected with West House to be our President.
