Archive Update 1920s – 1930s

A few years ago, Tricia Moore (retired art teacher from West House)  put together a fascinating new display for the lobby of the Sports Hall at West House School. This exhibition, showcased key moments and memories from the school’s history.

We previously featured photos of the display in the 2023 edition of the West House magazine. However, we heard from many of you that the text on the boards wasn’t legible in the printed images. Well, we’re pleased to announce that we’ve finally rectified this!

Last week, the Chair of the West House Old Boys’ Association (WHOBA) visited the school, camera in hand, and meticulously photographed the display boards. These images will now be uploaded for you to enjoy, with plans to release a new decade of history every few weeks.

We hope that these clearer images allow you to explore the stories, achievements, and milestones celebrated in the display.
