Hello Yellow!

We were happy to take part in Hello Yellow day which encourages pupils to wear something yellow and to donate to Youngminds. It’s purpose is to help young people recognise the importance of looking after their mental health.

In a lively assembly the boys and teachers shared things which helped to keep them feeling happy. Teachers incorporated mental well being into the lessons and our wonderful catering department baked special yellow cakes for a lunch time treat.

Right now, the world can seem quite a scary place for children and young people to grow up in. We want our pupils to share any worries they may have with friends, parents and teachers.

The assembly with a heartfelt message from Mr Lyttle, emphasizing the importance of maintaining mental well-being and reminding everyone that seeking help is a sign of strength, not weakness. Overall, Hello Yellow day was a vibrant and uplifting event, reinforcing the message that mental health matters and that there is always a network of support available.
