Our 2026 Science Fair was launched this week and we were delighted to have an incredible number of projects on show! Any boy from Y3-Y6 was allowed to enter with subject teachers selecting those worthy of representing each year group in the Science Fair Final. The aim of the project is for boys to select an area in Science which they are particularly interested in and create an original experiment as part of the school curriculum. Class by class, every boy then has the opportunity to trial each experiment and cast one vote for the project that inspires them the most.
This year, we had homemade trebuchets to instant cloud creations; balloons flying around Duce Hall through static electricity and a wonderful RC Car handmade by two of the participants, which was the overall winner of the Science Fair 2026.
A huge congratulations all the boys who entered into the Science Fair this year! We have some talented young scientists amongst our ranks here at West House School!
