West House V Highclare

WHS Crest
Under 11 B Team By H Rahman

It was a mild day at Richmond Hill but we were confident as resilient. A couple of early goals by Arunveer and Hasan gave us a comfortable lead. It was followed by a lot more goals and we went into half-time, 8-0 up. Hasan and Kyan were rotating goalies and huge congratulations to them as they kept a well deserved clean sheet.  Everybody performed better in the second half as Monty, Kyan, Arunveer, Hasan and Feroz scored goals. Omar bossed the midfield with Hassan and got some incredible assists and Mikaed was rock solid at the back and made some crucial tackles and got a hat-trick of assists. It was a brilliant performance from the whole team as they went on to win the match 19-0.

West House arrived at Richmond Hill raring to go so we quickly changed our boots and got ready.  Highclare took kickoff and the match had begun. The first moment of action was when our attack was creating a chance and I received the ball on the right wing and crossed the ball but a Highclare player scored an own goal. Suddenly, West House got a boost of confidence and Samuel went on to score two goals before halftime. It was West House kickoff for the second half and from nowhere our keeper Rui had loads of shots but managed to keep the ball out of the goal. Then one of the oppositions’s players squeezed a goal past our defenders and into the net. After that they scored another and the the pressure came luckily, we kept our heads up and then Eshan made an amazing pass to Samuel to get an easy hat trick. The whistle was blown for fulltime and we went home with a victory, 4-2. What a team performance?
