Our Senior Boys have made a very positive start to the 2026/27 football season, taking part in their first all-day tournament at Shrewsbury School.
The team enjoyed an excellent day of football, winning three of their group matches and finishing second in their group to progress through to the knockout stages of the competition.
They continued to perform strongly in the knockout rounds, eventually reaching the third-place play-off against Yarlet School. In a closely fought contest, the boys narrowly missed out, losing 1–0 to finish fourth overall.
It was a terrific effort from the team and a promising start to the season. While last year’s achievements will be a tough act to follow, the boys have already shown plenty of determination, teamwork and ability, and there is plenty to look forward to as the 2026/27 campaign gets underway.
Well done to all the boys who represented West House so impressively at Shrewsbury!
