U11 Basketball v Hallfield Thursday 13 October

West House started really well with our first five dominating the opposition with a quick transfer of the ball down court, enabling Ali to score early on. A very good full court press resulted in West House gaining possession. Max was fouled in the act of shooting and scored 2 from 2 from the free through line to make the score 4 up. Hallfield came back to score, then they were also fouled in the act of shooting, they scored 1 and the score was 4-3.

The first 5 continued to dominate and Hugh and Tadi scored, making it 8-3. The second five came on. They each played for 5 minutes and then rotated over the next 20 minutes. They kept up the momentum to score Hallfield came back well.

In the second half, West House stepped up with quick fast breaks to score again via Freddie and Hugh.  All the team contributed well with Joseph scoring a well taken basket in his first match. Max L dominated the rebound area to score a number of times.

A really pleasing performance.
