Basketball is back with first win for the season

U11 Basketball v Highclare ‘A’ Team

West House started well with quick fast break and good handling and scored the first basket by Freddie. Being the first game of the season WHS were a bit rusty and created chances but did not find the hoop at first . Highclare came back well and the score was 2-2. WHS pressed-the opposition well and scored the next 3 baskets to take a comfortable lead into half time.

The squad of 10 players were rotated 5 for 5 every 5 minutes to give all players a game in both teams. West House really improved throughout the match with Freddie reading the oppositions attacks well, cutting off their passes with very good interceptions and with quick movement. Great passing by the team created space for Tadi to score and Max to rebound well and score. Yusuf worked well on the fast break and scored Ari also scored .

Final score 18-6 win to West House.
