Under 10 Cricket v Hallfield

This week the U10 A team payed their last match of the season v Hallfield School. The U10 A won the toss and elected to bowl first .Very accurate bowling produced many wickets by the team. Hugh took 4 wickets in his two overs, this set the scene for a very good start to the match. Tadi then got 2 wickets,  Mahan, 2 wickets, Freddie also go 2 wickets and Akbar 1 wicket.

This kept Hallfield down to 199.

West House batted really well with the whole team contributing to the run chase.

Hugh and Abdullah started with 32 runs off their 4 overs. Freddie and Roman -47 runs off their 4 overs and Ari hit a high no ball for a boundary and led the team to a fine victory.

West House scored 346 and won by 147 runs to end their last match with an unbeaten season.

The B team also proved too strong for Hallfield and won by 90 runs. The C team won by 70 runs and the D Team put in a great performance but lost a close match by 9 runs.
