Discover West House at our Open Morning

We are delighted to be opening our doors to prospective families on Friday 9 October, from 9.30am to 12 noon, giving parents and children the opportunity to discover what makes life at West House School so special.

Choosing a school is about much more than looking at classrooms and facilities. Our Open Morning is a chance to experience the atmosphere of West House for yourself, meet the people who make our school what it is, and see our boys enjoying their everyday school life.

There will be opportunities to meet our teachers and pupils, explore the school and its grounds, and find out more about our approach to learning and the opportunities available to boys throughout their time at West House.

For families considering Reception, the Open Morning is an ideal opportunity to see how we support boys as they make the transition into school and begin their West House journey.

Our Early Years and Pre-Prep environment is welcoming, nurturing and purposeful, with plenty of opportunities for boys to learn through play, exploration and discovery. From the classroom to the outdoor spaces, we want our youngest boys to develop confidence, curiosity and independence while feeling secure and part of the West House family.

Visitors will also be able to see how our West House Way is woven through school life – encouraging boys to work hard while having fun, be kind and caring, stay strong when things go wrong and make the most of every day.

You will also be able to find out more about the breadth of opportunities available to our boys, including sport, music, the arts, Forest School and our new Creative & Active Learning programme, which gives boys the opportunity to explore interests and develop skills beyond the traditional curriculum.

Most importantly, you will see boys being boys: learning, laughing, making friends and getting involved.
