Did you know bookworms have different names around the world?  In German, they’re Leseratte (reading rat), and in Spanish, ratón de biblioteca (library mouse). No matter what you call them, we’re celebrating a love of reading and creativity.

Morning Reading Sessions

Our amazing Year 6 Librarians will host cosy reading sessions every Tuesday and Thursday during break time in the library. The first session kicks off this Tuesday with The Council of Good Friends by Nikesh Shukla.

Library Legends Challenge

📜 Pick up a Library Legends form from the library next week.
📖 Record details of 5 books you read this term.
🌟 Collect stamps and chat with Mrs. Parker or Ms. Jones-Owen after each book.
🎁 Complete the challenge for a special treat in the Summer Term!

Reading Across Generations
Every week, our older boys share stories with nursery children in regular reading sessions. It’s a wonderful way to foster a love of books and strengthen the West House family bond.
