Year 4 Battles Bosworth!
It is our first school trip of the year and we were a little worried about the rain ! However we need not have feared, the sun rain held off and we were able to make the most of our visit to the Bosworth Battlefield Heritage Centre.
Firstly we were greeted by one of Bosworth’s knowledgeable guides who brought the events of the battle to life outside on the battlefield trail with objects, re-enactment and role-play.
Boys then visited the indoor exhibition which brings to life the story of the Battle of Bosworth and this fascinating period of history.
Finally, the Year 4 met the resident soldier and learnt about life in medieval times. They were able to handle a variety of weapons and best of all were trained up and put through their battle paces.
