Maths Quiz
We were delighted to once again reach the finals of the National Keystage 2 Mathematics Championship.
These championships are run by Quiz Club and offer an exciting way to motivate, inspire, encourage and reward the boys in their quest for knowledge. This competition was run remotely, whilst the Quizmaster presents the quiz, with instant scoring feedback on-screen. Which was all well and good until the school experienced internet connectivity problems, for the first time ever!
Our hot-shot team were not thrown though and applied team work, logical thinking and all the maths skills they have picked up during their time at West House. Even with the technical difficulties the boys came 16th out of 155 teams which is a fantastic achievement.
Excellent work team!
I was very proud of the team and thought they did brilliantly.
