Celebrating Success

This Thursday we had a particularly assembly as there was lots to celebrate. Well done to all the boys who received certificates this week.

Every year we enter the UK Maths Challenge, a 60 minute, 25 multiple choice challenge. It encourages mathematical reasoning, precision of thought and fluency to make students think. The problems on the Junior Maths Challenge are accessible yet still challenge those with more experience.

The competition is for children up to Year 8 and this year West House did particularly well with boys winning bronze, silver and gold medals.

We also celebrated the West House Way this week. In Pre-Prep we had a couple of Seize the Day Manta Rays, a Truthful Turtle, two Resilient Rhinos and a Kind and Caring Koala.

These Prep boys were also worthy winners.
