West House Chorale at Birmingham Cathedral

Mr Lawrence and Mrs Butler were delighted to take 16 choristers from West House Chorale to sing with members of several other choirs at Birmingham Cathedral on Sunday afternoon. This annual event this year included a brass quintet from Royal Birmingham Conservatoire and percussionists from KEVI Camp Hill School for  Boys as well as the cathedral organ, all making a thrilling sound to accompany the singing.  We rehearsed and then performed in the choral evensong service.  The music was quite challenging for our choristers to learn in just the first three weeks of term, and they made a good job of it.  Well done, boys, and thanks to all the parents for supporting us.
