KES Chess Competition

On Tuesday 28th November, Mrs Patel and  Miss Flannigan took fifteen boys down to Kes to play in the chess competition.

In this competition we all played six matches and one of our participants, (Niren) won the competition, with 5.5 points ( Won 5 and drew 1.)

In the first round we had drawn one, unfortunately lost one and won the rest. There were brilliant performances from Arshan, Niren and Kyan.

Rui and Sami won bronze medals, Thomas and Kyan with silver and Niren with gold.

All in all, we put on a brilliant performance and we can hopefully do even better next time!
