A West House Week

The Angles of Year 4

Year 4 had fun this week with Mrs White, finding angles and shapes in the classroom during their maths lesson.

Music Assembly

A super music assembly entertained Years 1 to 6 today, as 18 boys performed pieces which they had clearly prepared diligently.  We enjoyed hearing nine different types of instrument.  This was the first of many opportunities this year for boys to hear their schoolmates play live music – giving them a chance to improve their listening skills as well as enhancing the performing skills of the players.

Children's Book Project

The response from the school community in support of the Children’s Book Project has been fantastic. We have joined forces with Edgbaston High School and established a South Birmingham collection hub on behalf of this charity.

On Tuesday night several members of staff from across both schools spent the evening sorting out books and boxing them up ready for distribution to several primary schools across the city.

Please donate any “gently used” books that you may have to our collection hub in the main entrance.
