Leaping Lepidopterists !

As our recent school inspection states, ” Pupils are proud of their achievements but hesitant to boast of them, seeing such activities as an integral part of their school lives and enjoying opportunities to participate in the school’s activities and enrichment programmes.”

This week pupils have been learning about butterflies, thanks to Alex in Year 4 who has produced a fantastic enrichment project on butterflies. Alex was even able to bring in a mini butterfly house with several chrysalises which Mrs White’s class observed over five days, watching them metamorphasize into wonderful ‘Painted Lady’ butterflies.
