Sing It !

Thirty-two keen choristers from Years 5 and 6 enjoyed a day-trip to Edgbaston High School for Girls to take part in an energetic and enjoyable singing workshop with singing leader and conductor, Suzzie Vango.  Along with pupils from three other schools, we enjoyed learning eight songs by heart, including lots of fun ideas such as improvising parts of the song lyrics or melody.  We had a warm welcome from EHS – including a delicious lunch – and the chance to perform a short concert of the songs to a live audience at the end of the day.  Time flew by – well done, West House, for great singing and throwing yourselves into the event with enthusiasm.
