Year 6 Keep Safe

We’ve been taking Year 6 boys to Safeside for many a year now and it is always a popular and memorable trip. Safeside centre at Eastside provides experiential safety learning for children, young people and adults, designed and maintained to complement the current PSHE curriculum.

The centre features an immersive, full-size indoor safety village. It has several scenarios including a bank, house, road, shop, police station and canal. The boys learned about real dangers, within a safe and controlled environment.

We’re delighted to report that the boys were extremely well behaved and the Safeside centre staff commented on the intelligent questions they asked and how well they listened to every detail.
