West House Way, Friday Assembly
In the Pre-Prep Department, the boys are taught a specific ‘West House Way’ value each week and discuss examples of how they have seen that value in action. The teachers then choose a boy who has demonstrated that value.
In Prep Department, boys get to nominate each other for general good behaviour and also a teacher gets to choose a pupil who has demonstrated some aspect of the West House Way.
Finally, the boys get to nominate a member of staff.
Pre-Prep West House Way Winners
Congratulations to Ibrahim for winning the ‘Work Hard Have Fun Flamingo!’ certificate, for working really hard and always having a smile on his face.
Well done to Luke and Yusuf for winning a ‘Kind Koala’ certificate, in recognition of their kindness.
A big thumbs up to Alfie for winning the ‘Helping Hedgehog!’ award.
Further up the school, our worthy weekly winners were Zarak, who was nominated by a fellow pupil for spending time with them at break, when they didn’t want to play football.
Freddie (not pictured) who was nominated for taking care of a friend during a PE lesson and Esa and Rizwaan who both demonstrated caring behaviour this week.
The teacher nominated award goes to Iliyas who Mr Abbey said, “Modelled wonderful behaviour throughout the England match. He set a brilliant example.”
Our teacher of the week award goes to Ms Sprigg who was nominated by Yilin who said, “She always helps to put my PE kit away. She is always helpful and supportive.”
