Children In Need Day
All pupils were invited to take part in a non-uniform day on Friday 18th November, with funds being donated to ‘Children in Need’. Children came to school dressed in spots or home clothes and asked to bring a donation of £1. Some senior boys asked to run a cake sale which proved extremely popular and was bad news for staff waistlines!
A percentage of the proceeds raised via the cake sale will be donated to the Penny Appeal in support of the Pakistan Floods Emergency with the remainder being added to Children in Need.
Reception boys included Children in Need into their mathematic lesson. They have learned about sequencing by making their own Pudsey biscuits and then writing up the order in which they made them.
