The Boy at the Back of the Class
Mr Boulton took his favourite lesson of this half term!
Ahmet, the Syrian refugee from our class text The Boy at the Back of the Class loves pomegranates as they remind him of home. Therefore, we decided to go on a journey of discovery by feeling, cutting, and tasting them in order to use our senses to describe them.
The boys produced some fantastic writing and can be proud of the progress that they’ve made this half term.
Coincidentally, a boy from my form class last year enjoyed the book so much that he gifted me a copy of the story signed by the wonderful author, Onjali Q. Rauf. This is now Mr Boulton’s prized possession!
