More Musical Magic!

It was good to take another 15 boys from Year 6 to Thursday’s lunchtime recital in the Ruddock Hall at King Edward’s School.  We enjoyed a ballade for piano composed by Frédéric Chopin, another ballade (but utterly different) for violin (very impressive playing) by Eugène Ysaÿe, and then the first movement of a piano quartet (piano, violin, viola, cello) by Mozart.  A very enjoyable trip – thank you to Dr Leigh and the soloists for staying behind to meet our boys after the concert.
