Music to our ears

The musicality of the school is something we are very proud of and this term promises to be a bumper crop of musical activity. For the first time in two years, we have an orchestra. This is something to really blow our trumpets about.

And this week, we held our instrumental taster session for boys wishing to take up an instrument. Our professional visiting music teachers were on hand to explain what is involved.

Woodwind instruments we teach are flute, clarinet, saxophone, oboe and bassoon.  Brass instruments include trumpet, French horn, trombone and tuba.  String instruments include violin and cello.
