Litterbusters, Librarians and Well-being

Senior boys at West House are expected to take on more responsibility as they move up the school. This week we appointed this year’s librarians, litterbusters and well-being council. All very important roles within the school.

The Litterbusting team from Year 4

Litterbusters

Last year’s school council decided the school needed a dedicated team of litterbusters who can give up 15 minutes of playtime to help keep the school looking spick and span.  Year 4 boys take on this important task and their work makes an incredible difference to the playground.

Year 6 Librarians

Librarians

The librarians fulfil are very important role within the school. They are on hand to help recommend books to younger boys, keep the library looking tidy and listen to the younger boys read.

Well-Being Team

Well-Being Club

Our year 6 Well-Being boys are on hand to make sure all boys feel included and enjoy their recreational time. We understand that not every child likes to join in with football or basketball at playtime. Our dedicated Well-Being team are on hand every playtime with lots of fabulous board games and activities for boys to play. They also make sure that no one is left out and they are available for younger boys to chat with about any worries they may have. The team can be recognised by their blue tabards.
