Year 6 Creative Evening

The annual Creative Arts evening is always a lovely informal occasion, where Yr 6 boys are able to showcase their creative talents in music, drama and art. This year did not disappoint and parents were astounded by their multi- talented offspring.

Mrs Doble had created a spectacular display of the art work that the boys had been working on all year, including sketches, print work and colourful ceramics.

Ms Green led the boys in an improv session and the audience were treated to energetic and impassioned recitals of various Roald Dahl poetry. A particular highlight was the Shakespearean insult session!

This year’s cohort of Yr 6 boys are incredibly talented when it comes to music and the evening finished with a flourish, with a total of 19 musical performances on the piano, guitar, drums, sax, clarinet, flute and cello.

Well done to all the pupils and teachers involved.
