Hedgehog Awareness Week
Mr Regall, as self-confessed hedgehog lover, is leading the school on a mission to achieve a Bronze Award from the British Hedgehog Preservation Society, who are celebrating their 40th anniversary this year.
Boys from Year 5 helped Mr Regall with a fascinating assembly in which we all learned many hedgehog facts and ways in which we can all help protect our prickly friends. We learned that the grounds of West House are home to many hedgehogs (and, indeed, badgers).
Boys across the school have already embraced this initiative. For example, Year 6 have written and performed an anthem about hedgehogs. Baryalai bravely allowed his to be played in assembly and should be commended on his creativity.
Over the next few weeks, the whole school will work together on various projects and initiatives with the aim of earning a bronze award. We will keep you updated 😊
