It’s good to talk

Here at West House, we have the Communication Station.

In this Communication Station there are there are Confident Communicators, who are sensible Year 6 boys that volunteer to become a Confident Communicator. Their job is to help children that are feeling sad or maybe they have hurt themselves and the teachers did not see it. It could be that the children are even having a dispute.

“The Communication Station helps children that are feeling sad to talk to a another child instead of a teacher.”

Confident Communicator duties

In the Communication Station there is more than one Confident Communicator so there are they take turns that are done in pairs. The children that have already been a Confident Communicator sometimes have to stop being one and have to give other Y6 boys a chance to be Confident Communicator so that it’s fair.

The Communication Station supervised by Austin H, the Confident Communicator Supervisor.
