Pupil Exclusion Policy

The Pupil Exclusion Policy at West House School makes clear that exclusion, whether fixed-term or permanent, is an extreme sanction used only for the most serious breaches of behaviour, bullying, or safety expectations, and can only be authorised by the Headmaster. Parents are fully informed of the reasons, length, and arrangements for any exclusion, and their cooperation is considered an essential part of the process. Parents also have the right to appeal to the Board of Governors, whose review panel will determine whether the school has acted fairly and in line with its policies and procedures.
