Welcome Back to the Spring Term

Welcome back!

We are excited to be starting back after the festive break and looking forward to a new term of learning, fun and rich opportunities.

The boys in Year 2 will be swimming on Fridays and they have a PE lesson on Thursdays, so please make sure their appropriate kit is in for those days.

In English we are looking at Fairy tales with a twist – an interesting development on their work in Year 1! We can’t wait to see the stories they will come up with!

In maths we begin by looking at geometry and then move onto multiplication and division – I can hear all the parents taking a sharp intake of breath!

Other highlights including Marine Animals in Science, which includes a visit to the Sealife Centre and learning about the continents and oceans in geography – a great chance to become ambitious about the next family holiday!
