Our U11 Football team made history in the second round of the Premier League Primary Stars Tournament this week and hence will represent Aston Villa FC in the National Finals this May. This is the furthest West House School has ever qualified and an iconic moment in the footballing history of the school. The momentous occasion even brought Mr Denham back to join in with the success of the team. Our U11s look forward to travelling to Molineux Stadium, the home ground of Wolverhampton Wanderers, to represent Aston Villa against the 19 other Premier League teams for the 2025/26 season!
In cricketing success this week, our U11 team broke another record and retained their crown at the Malvern College Indoor Cricket Festival winning the tournament for the second year running! Notable mentions go to Harry who was awarded the overall ‘best batter’ and Tamu the ‘best bowler’ throughout the day.
Our senior sporting stars should be really proud of all their efforts and are incredible role models to their younger peers. The hard work has truly paid off, boys!
