Ah, Christmas had officially arrived, joyful and triumphant! Birmingham Cathedral was host to one of the most magical moments in the school year! Through the power of music, readings and celebration, this year’s Carol Service lived up to expectation and a full congregation shared the festive spirit in the magical West House Way.
This occasion marks an important moment for our young, talented musicians at the school with our junior choir, Training Trebles, followed by our senior Chorale gaining valuable experience singing in front of an audience including one verse of Stille Nacht in original German! Once in Royal David’s City is a renowned part of the service and well done to our soloists this year: Yifan C, Leo S, Saiyan E, Bobby T, and Rizwaan K.
Public Speaking is an important skill we promote here at West House and Ms Green is vital to this confidence-boosting skill! We were extremely proud of all of our readers this year for their flawless retelling of the Christmas story:

A wonderful event was enjoyed by many and a final thank you to Mr Lawrence, Mrs Butler and Birmingham Cathedral for organising a truly magnificent Carol Service this year. We are on the road to Christmas!
