Spooky Season in Forest School

Forest School is now part of the curriculum from Reception to Year 6 and allows our boys to learn new skills outside the four walls of the classroom. This week, with Halloween creeping up, our Forest School team planned spooky sessions in our dedicated Forest School and there was an abundance of smiles on show in Year 3 and Year 5!

The ‘Pumpkin Potion Pop’ station proved to be hugely popular which involved creating a mysterious, woodland brew using nature’s ingredients. The creativity was flowing in the ‘Pinecone Spiders’ and ‘Web Weaving’ stations as the boys took their knot tying skills to the next level with some fantastic designs on show – see the photos below! Of course, it wouldn’t be Halloween without carving a pumpkin and some boys formed small teams to create their personalised pumpkin designs.

Happy Halloween from Forest School!
