With ongoing work on Duce Hall, our prestigious Speech Night and Prize Giving was held in the Ruddock Hall at King Edward’s School Birmingham. It was an evening full of celebration, laughter and joy as we welcomed pupils, parents, teachers and governors to reflect on another fantastic year here at West House School.
The Guest of Honour was Dr Sarb Clare MBE who shared her experiences working for the NHS and was awarded an MBE for her leadership and services offered during the COVID-19 Pandemic. Dr Clare has been become an integral part of the West House family as her two sons, Rohan and Roman, both attended the school in their younger years so we thank Dr Clare for her time not only at Speech Night, but the commitment and loyalty shown over the years!
Our Head Boy, Max A took to the stage and was a remarkable example of ‘The West House Way’. His fluency when sharing his memories of West House captured the audience with plenty of laughter along the way and the confidence shown on stage was a highlight of the evening! Well done to Mr Lyttle, Dr Sarb Clare and Max for three heartening speeches which truly captured the West House spirit and family atmosphere the school has to offer!
