West House were invited to Edgbaston Priory Club Tennis to enjoy a morning of tennis activities including watching some of the 42nd Rothesay Classic Birmingham 2024! Year 4 were involved in four different tennis lessons where they developed hand eye-coordination skills and basic tennis abilities.
As a highlight, the boys were surprised with a Q&A session with current No. 47 in the WTA Singles Rankings, Anhelina Kalinina, who will also by participating in the Paris Olympics this summer! There were some insightful questions asked and we were very thankful for Anhelina for spending time during the Rothesay Classic to talk to the boys.
A wonderful day out in the sunshine and could we have a future tennis star in our ranks?
