This week marked the grand opening of the “Headmaster’s Putting Green”and after an informative assembly on the rules and etiquette of golf, Year 6 boys will now have the opportunity to play the new course during their break times.
The boys have been educated in the scoring rules of golf and how they should aim to complete the course in as fewer shots as possible. Some thought if they scored the highest then they would win! In remaining P.E lessons and after school clubs, we hope a variety of boys from different year groups will get the opportunity to see if they can score below the par score of 31 – we think some of the staff may find their inner Tiger Woods and take to the putting green also!
