Message from the Headmaster - Summer 2010

As a busy year in the history of the school draws to a close, it is an obvious time for reflection. This has been another year of outstanding achievements both inside and outside the classroom and there have been a number of 'firsts'.
In the Autumn Term Mark Laing became the school’s first world champion when he won the gold medal in theWorld Karate Association Championships in Spain. At the beginning of the Summer Term the senior swimming team reached the IAPS National Championship Finals in London for the first time. Meanwhile, pupils of all ages have enthusiastically explored all that the exciting new nature reserve has to offer.
Our oldest pupils can also be proud of their achievements. Examination results have been outstanding and there have been a number of excellent individual performances in national academic challenges and competitions.
With a well deserved break on the way for all, attention is already turning to September when, with renewed vigour and energy, we will seek to raise the bar once again and continue to set the pace in all that constitutes a fine prep school education.
"Pupils are receiving an education which goes well beyond the academic curriculum and successfully prepares them for their senior schools"
