Kindergarten and Pre- School Visit to Hatton Country World

On Tuesday 28th June, two coaches arrived at school to take a very excited Kindergarten and Pre-School group to Hatton Country World. For many of the children, this was their first school trip and help from a number of parents was hugely appreciated. The journey was both loud and fun, with everyone joining in with an old fashioned sing along.
The children enjoyed learning all about the animals on show by feeding them, singing to them and imitating them! The highlight of the morning was undoubtedly a tractor ride around the farm, providing an opportunity for all to see animals grazing in their natural habitats.
After lunchtime refuelling, the rides, bouncy castles, tractor trikes, slides, sand pits and trampolines were the focus of the afternoon entertainment. Most then decided to cool off with an ice cream before a final run around in the soft play area. Boarding the coach for the return journey, many of the children – and a couple of adults - were already closing their eyes before sleeping all the way back to school.
