Just the Right Medicine!

Mothering Tide Service

Boys in Years 3 and 4 visited the Old Rep in January to see an adaptation of Roald Dahl's classic, 'George's Marvellous Medicine'. The story tells of George preparing a potion for his somewhat demanding grandma, using ingredients such as soap powder, shampoo and toothpaste. Unsurprisingly, the medicine has a rather unusual effect and sees grandma floating around the house before growing into a giant!

The special effects were fantastic and included lightning bolts shooting out of George’s fingers and a twelve foot tall grandma. Noah Lloyd (Year 3) clearly had the time of his life commenting, 'I thought the play was really good and I would recommend it to everyone from 1 to 80!'
