Easter Comes Early to Pre-Prep and Nursery

Easter Comes Early to Pre-Prep and Nursery

Spring at West House has seen the arrival of not only the buds on the trees and the daffodils in the flower beds, but also guinea pigs, chickens, a cockerel and a rabbit! The new arrivals have taken up residence in the Woodbourne courtyard and pupils of all ages have made regular visits during recent weeks. Children in Kindergarten particularly enjoyed visiting the animals and showing off their Easter bonnets which they had made in preparation for the grand Easter parade.

Meanwhile, the Parents’ Association Easter Egg Hunt took place on Sunday 27th March and the Woodbourne animals once again proved to be a hit with all who attended. The afternoon included various competitions and activities, as well as face painting and an opportunity to have a go on the ever popular bouncy castle. With a hearty amount of chocolate on offer and tea and cakes for the parents, the event proved to be another huge success for the Parents’ Association.

"Pupils are receiving an education which goes well beyond the academic curriculum and successfully prepares them for their senior schools"
