Message from the Headmaster

Headmaster - Alistair Lyttle
At the time of writing, we find ourselves galloping towards the end of term with outings and activities coming thick and fast. The summer term is one of immense fun and one when our oldest pupils can look forward with excitement to the challenges that lie ahead.

This year’s leavers have been a shining example to all who follow in their footsteps. They have struck the perfect balance between work and play and have presented themselves as fantastic role models to younger pupils. All can look to the future with a great deal of confidence and I am sure that all those associated with the school would want to join me in wishing them every success.

For the rest of us, life goes on very much as before, yet with the new academic year comes fresh ideas and new projects. The Birmingham and Black Country Wildlife Trust have begun work on the school Nature Reserve and this, coupled with the new outdoor learning area in the Field House playground will, I have no doubt be well received by all age groups. Followers of the school teams, who have for too long endured the limited facilities at Richmond Hill Road, will be pleased to know that plans are well underway for a new pavilion – not before time!
